We designed this search after seeing SAP users getting frustrated when they experience difficulties finding materials using SAP standard search help. If no material's description match the entered search text exactly, the user is forced to use pattern search.
Pattern search can be slow and can negatively affect performance of the entire SAP system.
Our Keyword search is designed to solve these problems and it allows to quickly find objects by entering keywords.

WiseVersa's Keyword Search is developed as an additional search help for Materials, Customers, and Vendors. It can be easily implemented for virtually any SAP object. Here are some key points about this search:

• INTUITIVE: The search is case insensitive and the result set does not depend on the order of the entered keywords.
• FLEXIBLE: You can decide which fields to include in the object search. Long text description and text notes can be included.

Here is how it works:

The Keyword search is available as an additional search help. User enters keyword 'USB' to look for USB products.

After search is executed, the result set is displayed:

User enters "usb cable" to look for USB cables:

Note! The standard search for "USB CABLE" would not find first four materials. More resource intensive pattern search for "*USB*CABLE*" will be required (system will perform full table scan). However, even the pattern search will not find materials where word "CABLE" appears before word "USB".
